Condensed Milk Cake is a super simple and delicious cake that uses sweetened condensed milk to create a moist, tender texture. This cake is rich, slightly sweet, and perfect for any occasion. Here’s a basic recipe to make it:

Ingredients:

  • 1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk

  • 2 large eggs

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour

  • 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder

  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

  • 1/2 cup milk (whole milk or any preferred milk)

  • Optional: powdered sugar for dusting, whipped cream for topping

Instructions:

1. Preheat the Oven:

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour an 8-inch round or square cake pan, or line it with parchment paper.

2. Mix the Wet Ingredients:

  • In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the condensed milkeggsmelted butter, and vanilla extract until well combined and smooth.

3. Combine the Dry Ingredients:

  • In a separate bowl, sift together the flourbaking powder, and salt. This will help prevent any lumps in your cake.

4. Mix the Wet and Dry Ingredients:

  • Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, alternating with milk. Start by adding a little of the dry mixture, followed by a little milk, and continue until both are fully incorporated. Mix just until smooth – be careful not to overmix.

5. Pour and Bake:

  • Pour the batter into your prepared cake pan. Use a spatula to smooth the top if needed.

  • Bake for 30–35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

6. Cool and Serve:

  • Let the cake cool in the pan for about 10 minutes, then transfer it to a wire rack to cool completely.

  • Optionally, dust with powdered sugar or top with whipped cream before serving.

Tips:

  • For extra flavor, you can add a teaspoon of lemon zest or cinnamon to the batter.

  • Frosting idea: You can make a simple buttercream or cream cheese frosting to go with the cake if you prefer a frosted cake.

Enjoy your Condensed Milk Cake! It’s perfect for a quick dessert or as a sweet treat with tea or coffee.
