Carnivore Quiche (Bacon & Beef Bake)

Servings: 4–6
Prep Time: 10 minutes
Cook Time: 15 minutes
Total Time: 25 minutes
Ingredients
-
1 lb (450g) ground beef (80/20 blend preferred)
-
4 oz (115g) bacon, chopped
-
2 large eggs, beaten
-
½ cup heavy cream (half & half works too)
-
¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
-
½ tsp salt (optional — bacon and Parmesan are salty already)
-
Fresh cracked pepper (optional if you include mild spices)
Instructions
1. Preheat the Oven
-
Set oven to 400°F (200°C).
-
Grease a 9-inch pie dish or small baking dish with butter or tallow.
2. Cook the Meats
-
In a skillet over medium heat, cook bacon until crispy. Remove and set aside.
-
In the same pan, add ground beef and cook until browned and slightly crispy.
-
Drain excess fat if there’s too much (leave about 2 tbsp for flavor).
-
Mix the cooked bacon and beef together, then spread evenly in your greased dish.
3. Make the Egg Mixture
-
In a bowl, whisk together 2 beaten eggs, ½ cup half & half, and ¼ cup Parmesan until smooth and creamy.
-
(Optional: add a pinch of salt or pepper if desired.)
4. Assemble the Quiche
-
Pour the egg–cream–Parmesan mixture evenly over the cooked beef and bacon layer.
-
Use a fork or spatula to gently mix the top so it distributes a little through the meat (but don’t stir completely).
5. Bake
-
Bake in the preheated oven for 15 minutes at 400°F (200°C).
-
The top should be set and lightly golden, with slight bubbling at the edges.
-
Let rest for 5 minutes before slicing.
