CARNIVORE CHEESY SANDWICH

Ingredients

2 slices of cheese for the “bread” (cheddar, provolone, mozzarella, or Swiss)

Cooked meat filling (choose one or mix):

Beef patties
-
Bacon
-
Ham
-
Pulled beef or steak

Extra cheese for the middle (optional, but awesome)

Butter or beef tallow (for cooking)
Instructions

Make the cheese “bread”

Heat a non-stick pan on medium-low.

Place cheese slices in the pan and let them melt and crisp until the edges are golden.

Flip carefully if you want them firmer. Remove and set aside.

Heat the meat
-
Warm your meat in the same pan with a little butter or tallow.

Assemble
-
Place meat on one cheese slice.

Add extra cheese if you want it extra gooey.
-
Top with the second cheese slice.

Melt & press (optional)
-
Put the sandwich back in the pan briefly and press gently until everything melts together.

Tips
-
Low heat = crispy cheese without burning
-
Bacon + beef + cheddar is a top-tier combo
-
Let it cool for 1 minute so it holds together
