Butter Cookies (Just 4 Ingredients!)

Ingredients:

1 cup (226 g) unsalted butter, softened
½ cup (60 g) powdered sugar
1 ½ cups (180 g) all-purpose flour
1 tsp vanilla extract

 Instructions:

1. Preheat the Oven
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
2. Make the Dough
In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened butter until creamy and smooth.
Add the powdered sugar and beat until light and fluffy (about 2 minutes).
Mix in the vanilla extract.
Gradually add the flour, mixing just until fully incorporated.
The dough should be soft, not sticky.
3. Shape the Cookies
Transfer the dough to a piping bag with a star tip (e.g., Wilton 1M).
Pipe swirls or rosettes onto the prepared baking sheet.
(Alternatively, you can roll into small balls and flatten slightly with a fork.)
4. Bake
Bake for 10–12 minutes, or until the edges just begin to turn light golden.
Let cookies cool on the pan for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.
