Brioches – 5 minutes, they melt in your mouth at the first bite, easy to make

Ingredients:
-
1 cup (120 g) all-purpose flour
-
1 egg
-
3 tbsp sugar
-
1 tsp baking powder
-
3 tbsp milk
-
2 tbsp melted butter (plus more for brushing)
-
1 tsp vanilla extract
-
Pinch of salt
Instructions:
-
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a muffin tin or use paper liners.
-
In a bowl, whisk egg, sugar, milk, melted butter, and vanilla until smooth.
-
Add flour, baking powder, and salt. Mix just until combined—do not overmix.
-
Spoon batter into muffin cups (about ¾ full).
-
Optional: Add chocolate chips or a dab of jam to the center.
-
Bake for 10–12 minutes, until golden and a toothpick comes out clean.
-
Brush tops with a little melted butter when warm.
Enjoy warm!
They’re soft, buttery, and tender—perfect for breakfast or a sweet snack. Let me know if you want a yeast-based version too (takes longer, but fluffier and closer to classic brioche).
