Cheesy Carnivore Bread Recipe

Here’s a Cheesy Carnivore Bread recipe—a low-carb, high-protein, ultra-savory “bread” made entirely from animal-based ingredients. It’s perfect for sandwiches, toast, or as a side with steak or eggs.

🥩🧀 Cheesy Carnivore Bread

⭐ What This Is

A dense, moist, cheesy loaf made without plant flours. It uses eggs, cheese, and optional meat add-ins to create a bread-like texture that slices beautifully.

🍽 Ingredients (1 loaf)

Base

  • 8 oz shredded mozzarella

  • 4 oz shredded cheddar (or Gruyère for richer flavor)

  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened

  • 6 large eggs

  • 1 tsp salt

  • 1 tsp baking powder (optional; omit for strict carnivore)

Add-Ins (optional but delicious)

  • 4–6 slices cooked bacon, crumbled

  • 2–4 oz cooked sausage or ground beef, finely chopped

  • 2 tbsp grated Parmesan

🥄 Instructions

  1. Preheat Oven
Set to 325°F (165°C). Line a loaf pan with parchment paper.

  2. Melt the Cheeses
In a microwave or saucepan, gently melt mozzarella + cheddar + cream cheese until cohesive.
Stir well; you want a smooth, stretchy mixture.

  3. Blend Eggs
In a bowl, whisk 6 eggs, salt, and baking powder (if using).

  4. Combine
While stirring, slowly mix the melted cheese into the egg mixture.
(Tip: Add gradually to avoid scrambling the eggs.)

  5. Add Meats (Optional)
Fold in bacon, sausage, or any meat bits you like.

  6. Bake
Pour batter into the loaf pan.
Bake 45–55 minutes, or until the center is set and the top is golden.

  7. Cool
Let cool at least 20 minutes for best slicing.

🍞 Serving Ideas

  • Slice and pan-fry in butter until crisp

  • Use as a sandwich base (bacon, egg & cheese = amazing)

  • Serve as “garlic bread” with salted butter

  • Cut into cubes and bake again for carnivore croutons

🧊 Storage

  • Fridge: Up to 5 days, wrapped

  • Freezer: Up to 2 months, sliced with parchment between pieces
